Kristin Winet recently received her PhD in Rhetoric and Composition and teaches courses in writing and rhetoric in the Foundations Writing program. Her scholarship, which examines professional travel writing as feminist rhetorical practice, has been published or is forthcoming in Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy, English Journal, and a number of edited collections, including Food, Feminisms, and Rhetorics; Feminist Foundations: Rhetoric, Media, and Delivery; and Widening the View: Essays on Feminist Historiography, Ephemera Evidence, and Rhetorical Education. In addition to serving as Nonfiction Editor for Panorama: Journal of Intelligent Travel, she is also an award-winning travel writer and photographer whose work can be found all across the web, in print, and even in the seatback pocket every month of an Asian airline.
