Micah Stack

Micah Stack is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the English Department, where he teaches first-year writing, literature, and creative writing courses. He received an M.A. in American Literature from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MFA in Fiction Writing from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he was a Truman Capote Fellow and a Teaching-Writing Fellow. His fiction has appeared in Juked, Gemini Magazine, Oxford American, The Pushcart Anthology 2017, AGNI, The Alaska Quarterly Review, Every Day Fiction, Zyzzyva, and, most recently, Joyland Magazine.
