Roger Dahood
Roger Dahood's publications include The Avowing of King Arthur: A Critical Edition (1984; rpt Routledge, 2014); Ancrene Riwle: Introduction and Part One (co‑edited and translated with R. W. Ackerman, 1984) and essays on Old and Middle English language and literature in Medium Aevum, Notes and Queries, Parergon, Speculum, Viator, Studies in the Age of Chaucer, and The Chaucer Review. He has also contributed chapters and essays to a number of critical anthologies. His most recent research has focused on the sources of Chaucer’s Prioress’s Tale.
He was co-editor of Studies in Medieval and Renaissance History, 2005-2014. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Medieval and Renaissance Texts and Studies and the on-line review journal Prolepsis.
He is Director of the Medieval Academy Data Project, and serves on the executive committee of the Medieval Academy’s Committee on Centers and Regional Associations (CARA).
