Abdul Hakim

My current areas of interest include L2 writing, corrective feedback, quantitative methods, and technology in L2 teaching. I graduated with a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Department of English at the University of Memphis. I have also recently completed advanced-level coursework in college teaching, teaching with technology, and language program administration at the University of Arizona. Before starting my PhD studies, I was a Fulbright grantee at Indiana University Bloomington. Prior to that, after graduating with a B.A. (Hons.) and an M.A. in English from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, I taught English at a university for several years. I am the recipient of the Writing Program Lecturer Teaching Award (2023) and the Teaching with Technology Award (2026).
