Abdul Hakim
I am a lecturer in the Writing Program in the Department of English at the University of Arizona. I also recently served as the coordinator and faculty co-chair of the Assessment Committee in the Writing Program. I graduated with a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Department of English at the University of Memphis. Before starting my PhD studies, I was a Fulbright grantee at Indiana University Bloomington. I am originally from Bangladesh, where I taught English at a university for around 7 years after graduating with a B.A. (Hons.) and an M.A. in English from the University of Chittagong. My current areas of interest include L2 writing, corrective feedback, quantitative methods, language program administration, and technology in L2 teaching. I am the recipient of the Writing Program Lecturer Teaching Award 2023.
