Emma Gomez

Emma Gomez is currently a principal lecturer for the Writing Program. She has taught for over 20 years and has been teaching at the University of Arizona for over a decade. She holds graduate degrees in Education and English Literature. She has a background in K-12 education, specifically Special Education. Her research and teaching interests focus on disability studies, intersectionality, language and literacy, and multimodal writing.
