☼ SONORA REVIEW ☼
Call for Undergraduate Interns (FA26-SP27)
Hey folks! We at Sonora Review, the oldest entirely graduate-run literary magazine in the country, are looking for undergraduate readers in Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in going into the publishing industry while also offering the opportunity to learn more about what's currently going on in the literary world. During the readership, you'll review submitted pieces of writing, evaluate them with your fellow readers and editors, and then decide on which ones you'd like to see published. It's quite fun, and we have a really great team––you'll get to work with our team of graduate editors in Fiction, Nonfiction, and/or Poetry. All this work will culminate in a published edition of the magazine at the end of the year!
In sum, it's a chance to help bring writing that you really love into the world in a tangible, published form! Please feel free to apply in any/all the three genres. The readership bears 3 internship credits while also providing work experience!
If you have any questions, please email the incoming Editor-in-Chief, Hayeon Lee (hayeonlee@arizona.edu). The application form is linked below:
The application deadline is July 1st, 2026.

All the best,
