Frederick Kiefer is University Distinguished Professor at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he teaches Elizabethan and Jacobean drama. He earned his B.A. in English at Loyola College, Maryland, and his M.A. and Ph.D. at Harvard University. He is the author of English Drama from “Everyman” to 1660: Performance and Print. (Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, 2015), Shakespeare’s Visual Theatre: Staging the Personified Characters.
