Student's Guide Writing Contest

Every year, the Writing Program holds a contest to showcase some of the excellent work created by Foundations Writing students. The winners are celebrated each year at the National Day on Writing (held each October), as well as having their work recognized and published here.Categories for the contest include genres like: narrative, analysis, argument, reflection, portfolio, multimodal project, and reported research. Winning entries display rhetorical innovation, developed analysis, purposeful organization, and effective language use. Some of our recent winners include:
