The University of Arizona won the sixth annual Regents' Cup competition, an annual event organized by the Arizona Board of Regents that encourages free expression and civil dialogue across the state's public universities. U of A communication major Yvonne Davis took first place in the storytelling contest. The team is coached by Ted McLoof, principal lecturer in the Department of English, and Diana Leonard, senior lecturer in the Department of Communication.

Ted McLoof is the Executive Director of the UA Discourse Series, a series of public forums dedicated to elevating our national discourse. Each semester, campus faculty, public officials, community leaders, and students engage in a series of roundtable discussions on matters of public interest. Congratulations to Ted and the entire team on their Regents' Cup win!
