Sara Wilhoit (ABD, Literature) awarded short-term fellowship at the Huntington Library

Congratulations to Sarah Wilhoit (ABD, Literature) on being awarded a short-term fellowship at the Huntington Library to be held during the 2020-21 academic year. She’ll be conducting research in the Octavia Butler Papers, a newly compiled collection of the manuscripts and correspondence of this major science fiction author. This research will form part of a chapter on Butler in Sarah’s dissertation on the feminist science fiction of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, currently titled, “Feminist Science Fictions as Revisionist Future Histories.”
