Leo Ríos is a writing instructor and fiction writer from Wasco, California. He studied English, Spanish, and Chicanx Studies at UCLA and received an MFA from Cornell University. His work appears or is forthcoming in The Arkansas InternationalThe Georgia ReviewThe Rumpus, The Masters Review, and Joyland. One of his short stories was noted as a distinguished story in Best American Short Stories 2022. On a good day, he makes pozole.
