Ann Shivers-McNair is Assistant Professor and Director of Professional and Technical Writing in the Department of English and Affiliated Faculty in the School of Information at the University of Arizona. Her work has appeared in journals such as Learning, Culture, and Social Interaction; Computers and CompositionAcross the Disciplines; Technical CommunicationKairos: Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy; and College Composition and Communication. She also serves as associate editor of Technical Communication Quarterly.
