UA Debate Series

We are currently seeking interns to fill a variety of positions to assist with the launch of our public forum series. These positions include the following fields:

  • Production assistance
  • Marketing
  • Promotion
  • Secretarial work
  • Research
  • Communications
  • Technology
  • Event coordinations
  • Graphic design

Responsibilities

You will be required to attend two meetings a week, minimum of 8 hours dedicated to accomplishing research and writing tasks. You will be encouraged to regularly record progress on assigned tasks, communicate consistently with student leads and/or faculty, and provide overall support to their assigned section.

Qualifications

A strong candidate for speaker/assistant interns will have interest in speech and debate. They will have and want to improve their strong communication skills, ability to organize, and multi-task. A strong candidate for lead interns will have additional skills or experience will be be invaluable. Those who have a background in the position they are applying for are highly encouraged to apply.
