English Graduate Union

The EGU represents graduate students from all the programs in the English Department and is an on-going forum for discussing graduate student concerns and initiating policy that advocates student interests. EGU meets every other Friday at 4pm in the Barry Briggs Lounge in CCIT.

University of Arizona Graduate & Professional Student Council (GPSC)

The Mission of the GSC is “To promote the academic, economic, and social aims of the graduate and professional students of the University of Arizona; to establish effective communication among graduate students and professional students; to facilitate communication with the University of Arizona and with other organizations.”

Since its inception in 1991, GSC has worked to improve graduate student life and has been active in promoting programs such as health insurance, child care, TA benefits, travel grants, and national advocacy.

There are so many ways for students to connect to the UA - clubs and organizations, intramural sports, cultural centers, student leadership groups, sororities and fraternities, volunteer opportunities on and of campus.
