|Ragini Tharoor Srinivasan is Assistant Professor of English, core faculty in Asian Pacific American Studies, and on the Executive Committee of the graduate program in Social, Cultural, and Critical Theory. She works at the intersections of Asian American and South Asian Anglophone literatures and cultural production. She is co-editor of a field-defining volume in interdisciplinary accent studies, "Thinking with an Accent" (UC Press, 2022), and currently completing a monograph on the pedagogical accents of Indian English literature. Srinivasan has published widely in journals and edited volumes in the fields of Comparative Literature, Postcolonial Studies, South Asian Studies, Feminist Theory, and Diaspora Studies. She is also an award-winning journalist and former magazine editor with bylines in numerous public and semi-public venues. Before joining UA, Ragini taught at the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a PhD in 2016. She is Co-Chair of the Academic Council and Affiliated Scholars of the South Asian American Digital Archive.
