Michael Hood is originally from Chicago, US, but lived in Japan for over 20 years. He earned a BA in English from the University of Illinois, an MA in English from Colorado State University, and an EdD in Education (TESOL) from Temple University, Japan campus. He has taught writing in various contexts in the US and Japan for over 30 years and is now looking forward to teaching students in China.
