Jana Schaeffer

Janna Schaeffer has worked in the field of second language acquisition and teaching and international education since 2000. Over the course of her professional career, she has conceptualized, designed and developed foreign language, regional expertise and culture learning products in various educational contexts. She taught undergraduate and graduate English language courses at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Janna most recently served as an academic coordinator at the NSEP-sponsored English for Heritage Language Speakers fellowship program at Georgetown University. Janna holds a PhD in SLAT.
