Alison F. McCabe

Senior Lecturer

Alison McCabe is a Lecturer of English with the UA's Writing Program. She received her MFA in Creative Writing (emphasis in Fiction) and MA in Counseling from the University of Arizona. Since 2011, Alison has contributed to the Dept. of English as a Lecturer, Faculty Supervisor, and New Start English Coordinator. Presently, she teaches composition courses in the Writing Program, and works as a therapist with a supervised private practice. Her writing has appeared in American Short Fiction, Tin House Open Bar, Shenandoah, Slice, Necessary Fiction, DIAGRAM, Hobart, Third Coast, Paper Darts, The Chronicle of Higher Education, among other publications. She is currently represented by Writers House literary agency.
