This is a two-month internship, in which four weeks are performed remotely and four in residence in St. Paul de Vence, hosted in a private bedroom in the historic house that is home to our Welcome Center. Meals will be provided. Depending upon our success in fundraising, travel stipends may be available at the end of the internship period.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated interest in James Baldwin, preferably having a history of academic, artistic or community organizing work inspired by his oeuvre. Practical skills are essential as well: facility with computers; experience with social media; excellent language skills, French a huge plus.
