RCTE Professor Amy C. Kimme Hea

RCTE Professor Amy C. Kimme Hea (with RCTE Alum Dr. Rachael Wendler Shah) have published "Silent Partners: Developing a Critical Understanding of Community Partners in Technical Communication Service-Learning Pedagogies" in Technical Communication Quarterly. Prof. Kimme Hea also recently published "Leveraging the Methodological Affordances of Facebook: Social Networking Strategies in Longitudinal Writing Research" in Composition Forum along with RCTE Alum Dr. Jenna Sheffield. Amy has recently joined the Technical Communication Quarterly editorial board, and her special issue of Technical Communication Quarterly on Social Media is one of the most read publications in the journal with more than 1,000 downloads. Her co-authored piece with RCTE Alum Dr. Elise Verzosa, "The Rhetoric of Reach: Preparing Students for Technical Communication in the Age of Social Media" also is one of the most downloaded at more than 800 views.
