RCTE graduate students Lizzy Bentley and Joanna Sanchez-Avila’s co-authored publication “Under the Mask: Creative Dis/Possessions of Borderlands Remembrance Practices” is now live in the “Craft Rhetorics” special issue No. 14 of Harlot: A Revealing Look at the Arts of Persuasion. Harlot is a refereed “interactive digital magazine dedicated to exploring rhetoric in everyday life.” A multimodal web-text, “Under the Mask” interrogates the tensions between cultural appropriation and creative exchange that underpin the craft practices of Tucson’s All Souls Procession.
