Transfer students must meet with an Academic Advisor for a Transfer Orientation in order to have access to course registration. Students should apply for University admission and then complete the online Transfer Student Academic Preview in the Next Steps Center. Upon completion of this module and all necessary components of the Next Steps Center, students will be directed to contact their Academic Advisor. For information and to apply, visit the Admissions site.
Students who are being readmitted to the University after an absence must first reapply to the University of Arizona through the Office of Admissions. Once the student has received notification of readmission, they may schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor. There are strict deadlines for readmission and students must apply for readmission prior to these dates as exceptions will not be made. Please note that students who did not leave in good academic standing have earlier deadlines and will complete additional steps for consideration of their application.
Prospective students who are seeking more information about the Department and its programs are encouraged to meet with the Director of Undergraduate Studies. Email Maribeth Slagle at firstname.lastname@example.org to request an appointment with the Director. Freshman students must apply for admission to the University of Arizona and attend a New Student Orientation session.
