Our English, Creative Writing and English Education majors and minors are designed to balance both fundamental learning and flexibility in various fields of study. We have strong programs in Creative Writing, English Language and Linguistics, Literature, and Rhetoric and Composition. Students create concentrations in their majors and minors from the programs in the English Department while striving to fulfill educational and career goals. Undergraduate study in the English Department is an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding experience. We welcome students to the English Undergraduate Advising Center and hope that students find it a welcoming home away from home, enhancing the University experience.
